Expeditionary Rowing Vessel

     The Expeditionary Rowing Vessel is geared to the community or club rowing program. Measuring 30 feet by 8 feet, this vessel will accomodate ten rowers plus a cox n, and is capable of extended expeditions in all but the most extreme of conditions.
    Constructed of marine plywood over plywood frames, and utilizing the batten-seam method of construction, the ERV is a moderately lightweight, durable, relatively low maintenance boat. The modified dory-style design is easily driven, allowing a long cruising range without the tremendous exertions required of the traditional big rowing craft. Epoxy/fiberglass sheathing adds to the strength and durability of this boat.
