Atlantic 17 SPECIFICATIONS                                                                  

    Our Atlantic 17 open water rowing boat is designed to be an entry level boat into the sport of open water rowing. Our purpose in offering this boat has been to offer an affordable means for people to enter this growing sport. By making this one of our Kitboat Class offerings, we intend to make this sport even more accesible .
    Detailed information on the Atlantic 17, its characteristics, one design class, construction, etc., may be found by scrolling through the above pages. As a kitboat class project, this boat will require most of the nine days we make available in our monthly schedule (though some of those days are largely taken up by the inevitable epoxy cure times). The result will be a boat which can be rowed by one or two people with very little effort over long distances, and in all but the worst of conditions.
