18' Skiff

    Measuring 18 feet by 7 feet, this boat offers greater open water capability, carrying capacity, and work space than the 16 foot Skiff, while still being small enough for easy trailering, and for use with moderate sized outboards. Its high freeboard make for an very dry and comfortable boat, and is a secure vessel for use with children.
    Construction for this boat is of 3/4 inch AC plywood throughout (AB or marine grade may be substituted for the added material cost). Frames are 4x4 on the bottom and 2x6 on the topsides. All fasteners are of stainless steel, with all hull joints bedded in 3M 5200 marine sealant, and further reinforced with 15 oz biaxial fiberglass tape set in epoxy. Foam flotation is located under the side decks.
