18' Double Paddle Canoe
(aka Touring Kayak)

Measuring 18 feet by 32 inches, this boat is a true touring boat for two people with a large amount of gear (though it can be set up as a single). The hull design makes for a very sea kindly and seaworthy boat, which has a time tested history as a cruising boat. The length and clean lines make for an easily driven boat, capable of long journeys under paddle power. A low aspect rudder gives the crew excellent control in all conditions without sacrificing a good, consistent paddle stroke.

This boat is available as either a fabric on wood frame hull, or as a plywood and glass/epoxy hull. We also offer the fabric hull in either kit form, or as a stock plan.
