14' Skiff

    Measuring 14 by 7 feet, this  Scow  provides the usefulness and versatility of a much larger craft. It is large enough to provide a stable work platform for dockwork, as a marina yardboat, or for recreational fishing and general use.

     Construction is of 1/2 inch AC fir plywood topsides and 3/4 inch AC fir plywood bottom, over 4x4 bottom and 2x4 topside frames. Chines are 1x6 fir, and all chine joints are bedded in 3m5200, then epoxy glassed with 15 oz. biaxial tape. Two 2x4 keels offer protection against beaching, and a plywood side and fore deck add tremendous structural stiffness to the boat.
