14' Light Skiff

  This lightweight version of our standard 14 measures 13 feet 7 inches by 5 foot beam, and provides an excellent boat for gunkholing, beachcombing, fishing, crabbing, and introducing children to boating. It is a  classic  in appearance, with good stability and seaworthiness. A small outboard and a pair of oars will provide all the propulsion you need.

    Construction is of 3/8 inch topside and 1/2 inch bottom plywood, with high quality AC Fir plywood used throughout on our standard boat (Marine Grade is available on request for the added material cost). Chines and a double rail are of fir, with three seats that are box-sectioned to hold the styrofoam flotation.
