13' Persson Dory Skiff

    Our Persson Dory Skiff is a simplified version of the classic dory skiff type. This boat is ideally suited to  messing about  on rivers, lakes, bays, and harbors. It will carry a surprising amount of gear for camping  and picnicing, and is a good boat for teaching children the basics of small boat handling.

    Construction of this boat is of 1/4 inch Marine Fir plywood over plywood frams and fir seam battens. All joints and structural members are bonded with epoxy, and all hull joints are further reinforced with fiberglass tape set in epoxy. There are three seats, allowing for use as a single, or as a single with one or two passengers.
