12' Skiff

                   Custom 12 Foot Skiff
     Our smallest skiff, this boat measures 12 feet by 4 feet 9 inches. Built with 3/8 inch topside and 1/2 inch bottom plywood, with a doubled-up fir railing for added structural stiffness, this boat is ideal for gunkholing, beachcombing, and introducing children to boating. Fasteners are of stainless steel, and all hull joints are bedded in 3M 5200 marine sealant. Hull joints are further reinforced with with 15 oz. biaxial fiberglass tape set in epoxy. Standard boats are built with high quality AC Fir plywood; Marine Grade fir is available for the added material cost. The three seats are boxed to hold foam flotation.     A 5 horsepower outboard and some oars are all the propulsion you will need.
